Nasir Alfa Mohammed is a Senior Associate Consultant at Ali-Nakyea and Associates, a notable law firm in Ghana. He is versatile legal professional with expertise in energy and extractive resources governance and currently teaches energy law alongside his professional career. His commitment to public service is evident through his tenure as a Member of Ghana’s Public Interest and Accountability Committee (PIAC, 2021 to 2023), where he served in many capacities and ascended to to the position of Vice-Chairman of PIAC. He previously served in leadership roles at the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP) and the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI), driving legal reforms and policy advocacy in Ghana’s resource sector. He has been an expert team member of CEMLAWS Africa since 2016, particularly supporting the Centre’s work in offshore energy governance and building of accountability and transparency in national and regional policy space.
