CORNELIA OPOKU GYEMFI

Assistant Research Officer (Intern)

Cornelia Opoku Gyemfi is a Research Assistant (intern) at CEMLAWS Africa. After obtaining her undergraduate law degree in Ghana, she moved to Canada to pursue a Master of Laws degree at Dalhousie University, specializing in Maritime and Environmental law, particularly Maritime Governance. During her graduate studies, she collaborated with a diverse team of accomplished academics as a research assistant, contributing to the publication “Demystifying Canadian Maritime Governance.”
With a wealth of experience across public, private, non-governmental, and non-profit sectors, Cornelia is still expanding her career profile in diverse ways including pursuing Criminal and Family Law with Legal Aid Manitoba in Canada. In her leisure time, she enjoys baking delicious cakes.
